Downchild Blues Band .. It is Donnie Walsh's band . A bar band that The Blues Brothers heard ( in a bar ) and they ended up being the consultant music and WROTE a couple of tunes for the movie . Another great CDN blues band is The Power Blues Band . Check it out . Happy Sept 1st !!!

Story behind Dan Aykroyd, casually met him many years ago. We had mutual friends that were his neighbors just outside of Kingston. They lived in Sydenham. He not too far away. This was long before he married Donna and his fame was just starting to rise. He used to come over to their parties. Anyway, he was literally a dick to everybody. Showed up with body guards, etc. never mind he already knew everyone, all neighbors and friends he had partied with before. Last I saw him was his tail end when he was politely asked to leave and not return until he got his head back down to earth. He had quite an interest in powdery substances back then. Also knew the guy that flew his supply to him wherever he was.
