Much obliged for the compliments. I'm not much of a photographer but the occasional photo does help tell the story. Wish I'd taken more but on the other hand trying to capture everything with a proper snapshot becomes work.
I know this is going to sound sexist but I am just stating a fact about brooms. Jamaican women love them. And if they don't have one they want one because a dirty floor is intolerable and does not reflect well upon them even though the floor looks clean to me the way it is. Plus they can spend 30-minutes doing a 5-minute job making you move your feet over and over again as they move furniture about while demonstrating their homemaking skills. Occasionally it feels like you've fallen into a time warp and arrived back in the 1950's.
Time to kick back and roll a couple spliffs for when she gets done.
Ever notice how much ganja and dreadlocks look alike?
