We have a hibiscus that has triple trunks that twist together that we got on clearance for $5.00 last year.  It bloomed so much the entire summer and was so pretty that we repotted it and brought it in for the winter (norther Illinois here).  It is back outside but is looking a bit sad.  It has new growth and a new blossum beginning so I'll try to post a picture when it looks great again.

I brought a hibiscus in the house after summer. It did well all winter. Put it back out in the spring, leaves looked great but never got a flower.

Mo...go buy some Miracle-gro . I use an empty gallon plastic milk jug, use the little spoon it comes with, 1 scoup to gallon of water....your plant will LOVE it.

I'm going to ditto Wendy, I really am inept at photo's -- but this week my irises are looking really great.  My tulips are done, my hyannicyths are done, my daffodils are done, those first flowers that come... can't remember their names this late at night, but they are gone.  It is always such a joy though, when they first appear -- the first flowers of the season.
   Rootswoman, your home looks lovely with all those plants.  I just had to have my roof replaced  YUK all that money with not too much enjoyment of the spending.  BUT -- today with the help of my father we got the pool cover off of the pool.  I think it was the year before last that I had to replace the pool liner & it is a lovely caribbean turquoise.

I had two big ones in pots that I had to leave behind when we left LA - I miss them! One was yellow with a red center and one was a beautiful peach shade .

RW-I don't have hibiscus any more. They just don't seem to do well here in NYS. Only get one flower at a time. I do better with mandevilla but didn't buy them this year. Too expensive ($40) a plant.
