What's your favorite thing(s) to do your first morning upon awakening in Jamaica???
OK, I'll start; I like to wake from my night's sleep, relish the thought that I don't have to get up quickly to go to work, stretch & wiggle my toes & listen to the sea waves crash up on the cliffs. I take mi time, get up & get the water for my tea going. Then I walk out the doors facing the sea, stretch mi arms up & breathing in that wonderful sea air. Get that first cup of tea & head just a few steps down to the cliff wall, have a seat, prop mi legs up & gaze at the sea for awhile. Watch the birds flying around on land & also the frigates over the sea. If someone comes down too, great, let's talk! If not, I just sit & sit. . .gaze at the sea. . .ah, this is wonderful!

Jenny, reading the start to your day I wondered if you had been reading my diary - but I drink coffee rather than tea, so I guess you were really telling us YOUR morning routine after all : ) The only thing I would add, is loving up those guard dogs that greet me as soon as I open the door!

I'm one of those disgusting people who get up very early and walk from NBCC to Treehouse and back. This justifies (in MY mind) laying on the beach most of the rest of the day. After my walk I have breakfast and coffee. That's my reward for doing the right thing for my body.
