Post on another board got me thinking: - jabailey - 01-06-2011 There is a thread about a lady who had her purse stolen, and got cut in the process; "As The Thread Turns" many posts later, is a link to the official government data on non natural deaths abroad by country. 2010 in Jamaica had a drowning, a drug related incident, and two homicides. I have been to that particular government site quite a few times, but I was told a long time ago by a very wise man who has been part of Jamaican investigations/autopsy/official documentation that non-natural deaths are reported on government reports such as the one above only a small pittance of the time. Too many non natural deaths, and the US embassy issues a travel warning, and THAT influences tourism. It's like the "official" version of "what happens in Jamaica stays in Jamaica". I actually believe that to be true. I am going down next month, and I ALREADY have the "miss my dog blues" just thinking about being away from them. Re: Post on another board got me thinking: - doctoro - 01-06-2011 Not sure JaBailey, but when I am home in the states our dogs know what time my daughter is coming home and they sit at the door waiting for her car to pull up, when they hear her pull into the driveway they go crazy. When she went on vacation and left them with me, I would find them laying either in her bed or on a pair of houseshoes she left out.
