Rootz Underground Show Tonight - monk - 01-04-2011

If anyone is in Negril tonight is going to be an incredible show at Negril Escape.

Few artistes can actually put the content of their music up to the checks their ass can cash. Not sure if that makes sense. I think it does.

Two that come to mind are Etana and Rootz Underground.

Why I rate Rootz Underground is that in the entire history of the Soul Rebellion events they were the first act to express an explicit interest in what the event is about, and actively engage in developing an opportunity to hit the road with us to disburse the resources the events generated. In fact they insisted.

So if you are in Negril, please support this effort to expose a positive group. They should be A LOT bigger than they are in Jamaica.

People always complain about the state of music but these acts who are worthy of support are there.

I'm glad they supported Soul Rebellion LIKE THEY DID BUT I HAVE TO PUT IN A PLUG FOR THEM JUST MUSICALLY...THEY COULD BE TOTAL JERKS AND WOULD STILL BE ONE OF THE BEST SHOWS i'VE SEEN Smile IF STEPHEN NEWLAND DOESN'T GET YOU JUMPING UP AND DOWN Y0U ARE NOT ALIVE Wink
