as I was giving the 'other" board my weekly check I saw a post that went something like this.A "said" person mentioned in a post that the megamart in MoBay had lots of stuff so if you don't want to pay duty buy it there.A moderator named Bill asked if he had any money gain by saying that.I don't think that Rob (oops)ever answered that question.

That thread came on the heels of a big discussion about paying duty on things that we carry in with us; i took the post to be an advisement to people that it's easier, cheaper, and way less hassle to buy stuff there instedda carrying it ... cause now, that can be done. I.E., there's no longer any need to worry about paying duty on carrying stuff, cause it can now be bought locally.

Before MegaMart there were many things that ppl brought with them cause they were unavailable to buy IN jamaica, and that is no longer the case.

but i seriously don't think it has squat to do with one individual receiving any financial benefit from posting said info - other than possible sponsor income if Megamart is a paid advertiser on the site.

I buy anything there that I can and carry the items I can. I don't even carry shampoo, tooth paste, etc. One stop at Mega Mart and I'm good to go. Gotta save the lbs for more important items.

PS: superman isn't really superman anymore - but that's all I'm saying.
