Only 1 bed per room? - Markospoon - 12-28-2010

Why would a hotel change from 2 beds to 1 bed per room?
My Hotel did this to me.
I got there, all smiles, opened the door and HUH???

Where's my other bed?
Well, I talked to one of the cleaning ladies and she said
"all the rooms are down to one bed."

I did not ask the management about it, but i wanted to find out.
Never got around to ask.

Ok, lets see.
1) Times are tough and maybe they sold the beds?

2) Maybe they reduce the price of the rooms so 2 people can have their own room for the price of 1 old room?

3) I don't know?

Some people like to travel together, but not share the same bed.
So, why only 1 bed in a room.
I miss my 2nd bed.
It was for lounging, putting/sorting things out on it and a little fun, without messing up the sleeping bed.

I just don't know.

Oh yeah, She, the cleaning lady, said that if you wanted/needed a 2nd bed, they would bring one in for you.

The Coral Seas Garden Hotel.

Everything was very nice as usual.
I do love this hotel, but it was just a surprise for me.

They have had 2 beds for the last 10 years, but things change, i guess.

I need to get back down there and straighten them out.

1 bed, who do they think they are dealing with?
