Re: Bloody Bay public access (Sandals?) - JonTom - 02-20-2014 There was a thread here awhile back (~2+ years ago?) that indicated Sandals owns that land (or parent corp., GorStew or whatever). The documents about the jettys and beach reclamation plan for Sandals (on Long Bay) showed beach/soil samples from the land you mention. The suggested "sand sourcing" for the reclamation was "sand samples collected at thirteen The aerial photo showing the sample sites shows the property between Riu and SATP's beach. In any case, not good news (IMO).

Re: Bloody Bay public access - kylake - 02-21-2014 amibri, thanks for the update on access to Bloody Bay. The main reason we wanted to go also was to get to the original OON. Since we have not ever walked that bay it might still be interesting to do that one time before the next mega hotel is built.
