Bloody Bay access question - kylake - 01-26-2014

Does anyone know the best public ingress and egress to Bloody Bay.

It appears from google map there is an area headed towards Mobay just past Riu Palace Tropical and Sunset at the Palms where there might be a public access. We never got to walk BB last time and would like to this trip.

We asked at Breezes Negril and they would not let us pass through unless we were staying at Hedo. Maybe this time I will just walk like I know what I am doing and if they ask tell them we are staying at Hedo :-)

Not sure, but I think you could get dropped off at Sunset at the Palms and enter there.

Thanks Amibri and Jitterbug for confirming a location. From the map I assumed it was one of the 2 locations I have marked with red arrows.

Thanks ohliz for the wiki. If OON is the entry point it does appear that the upper arrow is the ingress point. I guess I will know in about a couple of months for sure.

Thanks fatty for the direction to turn. I believe I read on TripAdvisor that the real OON has a blue tarp. Is that correct. When we walk BB we had planned to chill and eat at OON.

Yes fatty, I live in Tennessee and my username is a reference to Kentucky Lake. That is my local fishing hole :-) I also hunt in the Big Sandy River area that flows into Kentucky Lake near Paris Landing.
