Rock Bar Bali, Indonesia
Reachable only by a small cable car that traverses a sheer cliff face, this dramatic setting is just above the reach of the waves that crash off the coral reef just beyond it, sending a splashing “aquatic fireworks” high in the air. Part of the luxe Ayana resort, Rock Bar has been voted the best place in Bali to watch the sun set. As for drinks, they have a number of specialty cocktails — but, really, anything on the rocks should do.

Subsix Underwater Bar, Maldives
Sunk six metres below the surface of the Indian Ocean, the world’s first underwater bar is a short boat ride — or a long swim — from the shore. Bust a move when the DJ spins some beats or sit back with your drink and take in the floor-to-ceiling views of parrot fish, turtles and manta rays. And if you have any questions, feel free to consult with the onsite marine biologist.

Nice looking places but out of my budget to travel to either one :-)

Schuttzie, I would love to go to the Maldives whether I got to that bar or not. The snorkeling there is supposed to be most excellent. The islands in that area resemble a strings of pearls when looking from above.
Travel arrangements $$$$ is the killer :-)
