Happy Holiday Food Post - Debra - 12-18-2010
We all love food, right? We are a diverse group of people from all over the world. 'Out of many One People'[love that saying]. So I thought since I got that good recipe from Jenny[spicy swt pot fries umm], that we could all join in and post our favorite holiday meal...And the one we will be eating.
I hope everyone will post so we can have a good time and share the love this holiday season.
My Christmas Dinner:
11lb butterball turkey,cajun injected,baked in a bag
Homemade pepperidge farm dressing,cooked on the side
Whole Cranberries
Idaho Gold mashed potatoes
Homemade cajun gravy
sauteed fresh green beans
Butter peacan homemade cake for desert
My Ultimate Dream Meal:
Conch Soup
Romaine salad,carrot,radish,red pepper,cucumber,lime
Beef tenderlion with bernaise sauce
Gungo Peas and rice with coconut milk
Ackee & saltfish, heavy on tomatoes
Desert: A Big fruit plate;
starapple,afapple,jackfruit,papa,fresh picked red grapefruit,mango,avacado pear, pinneapple,sweet sop,soursop,starfruit, and dry coconut, just to name a few.
All the sorrel[no alcohol] that I could drink.
