A Trip To Remember - macyoder - 07-25-2013

How did I make it through 2 glorious week without hassle, issue or contention? I told myself to go with the flow and like Dorothy I was not in Kansas anymore. I started to get worried when I started to enjoy cold showers and did not start my day with an itinerary. I came home not feeling glad to be home because I realize the last 2 weeks I was home. I did miss my family and glad to be back with them.

Pics where I spent most of my time, looking at what was always there as if it was the first time.

I fell in love with these views just walking around most mornings and evenings. There was concern with my safety, but I reminded everyone that Jamaicans are afraid of crazy people. Anyone making up these hills several times per day with a camera would be considered crazy, therefore I was safe.

Congratulations Macy, for enjoying so completely.

I'm some moons older than you, but still have to remind myself that "home" is a mysterious combination of blood, place, and people, and even smells and tastes that I can't really control, so just have to go with the flow. Your posts have reminded me of this, and for this I thank you!
