I made it out past the last custom lady.

It is nice when there are alot of folks land at the same time.
No, not the crowds in the lines, just when you get to that 2nd custom person and there are loads of folks, that she just checks your card, asks you are you bringing any gifts, you say no and you are through the doors.

Soon, the 2 people came out and we went over to the spot where we get our cold and free Red Stripe or water.

The Van came quickly and we piled in for the trip to Negril.

1/2 way there we pulled in to a rest stop place.
The tourist that were with me kinda got ripped off.

They paid $20.00 US for 5 beers.

We made it to Lucea and the driver pulled over and said he was picking someone up.

She knew the people riding with me and had made arrangements for the Lucea pickup..
She sat in the back, looked at me and shouted "MARKOSPOON!!" I always wanted to meet you.
It was funny.
We all laughed about that.

I made it to my hotel and checked in, got mi keys and threw down my bags.

Lights, good.
Bathroom, good.
Washroom, good.
TV, good.
AC (that i did not need) good.
Ok, now the fun part.
I headed out to the road, found one of my reliable taxi dudes.
To Mama's shop.
I stop there first, its on the way to the yard, maybe she is there.

We arrive at the shop, my sis in law gives me big hug and kisses.

On to the yard driver.
I get to the yard, Mama welcomes me with more hugs and kisses.
She gets out my suitcase that I leave with her.
Clean clothes, washed and dried and packed up, waiting on my return, nice.

On to the China man store.
We get there and i grab a case.

Now i can start to unpack and sort things out.

Dang I almost missed this. Sounds like a fun first day so far. You sure make me long for that travel day.
