My son won the Ronald McDonald African American Future Achievers Scholarship. In the mist of our joy my daughter asked, do we have to give half of the money back because dad is white...lol?

I can never figure that out.If you are mixed then why is a person always black. Why not say white . I know about the "one drop " thing but why does that make it right.If they now say "transgender " why can't they now say "transrace "...just asking nothing else.
