Not sure how long they've been operating but today I noticed the street lights working almost too late to make my Driver realise it, we're barrelling down the road towards town STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!! and we were at the one by Sandals where they also have the street guards with the signs at the crossing. He hadn't even noticed it.

I think it's going to take some time before the drivers realise they are there. And slow down and be mindful of them, I hope no one gets hurt while they break them in.

Wow! This is GREAT to see. I'm glad you posted pictures of the lights or else I might not have believed it, LOL. Seriously, I also hope that the cops police these for awhile & ticket those who ignore them. And that all pedestrians realize that these are new & to not think drivers are automatically going to stop!

Oh Pineapple- you made me LOL thinking about that four way stop coming back from Roaring River.

I hope the lights slow things down. I know that I personally will not depend on a light. I will still use my same EXTREME caution when crossing the road or when near the road. I like walkin' way off in the ditch- ain't no shame in my game-lol
