It is good news indeed. It states that the intention is to increase patrolling of the beach and surrounding area, not specifically the west end, although everyone knows that this area has seen a huge influx of criminals from the big cities in the last few years who have started their own neighbourhood up the lanes off One Love Drive. I'm pleased to see that they finally recognize the need to increase the number of officers. What is a staggering revelation is that until now, and if the force is being increased by 20 which represents 50%, they only had a police force of 40.
