Split trip Ochos rios to Negril - SHUMBA - 12-09-2010

Hi to all boardies, this is my first post here! but I am a big fan! My wife and I are thinking about splitting a trip this year between Ohchos rios and Negril probably 10 days maybe four in Ochos and 6 in Negril. Has any one got some good advise on how to do this easily? and for resonable transportation cost? and I might add we have never been to Ochos before so looking for a nice place to stay (Non AI) we know where we want to be in Negril having been there many times but thought we like to see more of the island and come cross country to Negril for the final days. Thank you in advance

For budget comfort in Ochi, best bet in my mind is Rooms on the Beach - it's one of the few hotels that has on beach access - plus it's right in town and an easy walk to stuff.

Lots of other places, depending on price and what you seek - or you could stay nearby at JAJewels!

From Ochi to Negril, best to arrange with a private driver - or you could take the Knutsford express to Mo Bay and then a driver or Juta from there -
