Well, it's a quiet adventure anyways, lol, just settling in, no partying for me, couldn't even stay up to midnight on New Year's Eve, barely made it to 11pm at debar, and most nights am in my room by nine or ten latest..but I sleep good and wake up early and don't wake up often in the night at all.

It feels good to take it easy on myself, to know there is not any one set thing I have to do, that I have all the time in the world. It feels good to be settled into my new place, and given that I post from DeBar on wifi and on a laptop battery, the reports will have to be somewhat brief until the 1st and I can get the hookup at my place for wifi, I just don't want to spend the hours it would take downloading pics to photobucket and then from photobucket here to Jamericans, but pics are coming, and anyone that wants can check out the 19 I posted on facebook just now at this link:

The water went down again this afternoon at my place, pretty sure it was because of the water guys I saw working on the main road right at the corner of it and peewee lane, so hopefully it will be fixed soon.

I'll be reporting a little bit every day though, and will try to do some reading on the other threads and play catchup!

Ham hocks- now your talkin' my language-lol If you are tired of using them for bean soup just cook them up and eat them like any other meat, or make scrapple or pick the meat off and make a ham salad of sorts. Lots of yummy things to do with them!
