I would like someplace nested in the hillside surrounded by green vegetation with an amzing view of the sea that will take your breath away. The Jamaican version of this- bakka bush but see the wata:-)

Do you think a local (someone already there) will get a better rate?

Other information regarding Port Antonio is contained there also. Sprat recently stayed in Port Antonio.

I have stayed in Port Antonio at Belmont Villa a few times http://www.belmontvilla.com/about.html

But now that I don't have it like that I stay at Ivanhoe, when I go and I love it and the area's, proximity to town. I prefer the privacy of the two apartments on the 3rd floor, preferably the single room with it's queen sized bed fun and frilly made for a woman. The second bedroom has two double beds and is nice also. 5500 JMD was the cost and they both have air.

The apartments on the 2ND level are OK but without air.

Walking distance for normal folks to town.
