Ohhhhhh I love him! A bat(moth), kinda fuzzy like a little kitten. They are huge huh? Can you just gently palm him and help him go on his way?

I was just getting ready to say "don't let Sophie see him, she'll was to take him home".

No NO NO don't hurt him! I will rescue him when I come----- I am picturing you trapped in house till June 30th!LOLOLOL

We had one of those hanging out with us on our patio for a couple hours one night. I'll post pics when I get home. My BF kept saying it was a bat and I said it doesn't look like a bat - it looks like a huge moth. I guess we were both right if it's considered a moth bat. Then all of a sudden we looked up and he was gone - we didn't even seem him leave. But he didn't go far... when I went inside to the bathroom a little while later, there he was, hanging out waiting for me. Needless to say, that's when BF had to come to the rescue!

Yes Doc as far as I know moth is called bat and bat is called rat bat. I could easily be wrong though.........happens every day.lol

Oh- I wish you could see me- tears running down my face laughing. I can just see it. Door open only enough for broom~~ oh I can't talk about it anymore- laughing too hard.

You do have my written permission to kill the forty leggers. Print this out and show the little fellers before you dead 'em though, I'm sure they will feel much better about their early demise knowing I approved it-LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!

just so happen a big @$$ 40 legger was crawling across owen's floor one night......uuugggggg!

he mashed it with the dust pan, which was plastic, and bruk it up! no, not the 40 legger, but the dust pan, along with his thumb as it hit the concrete! (altho, there were still a few legs kickin' in the first attempted spot !)

unfortunately that dang creature was STILL alive.... but he eventually killed it dead!

Ewwww..... I hate farty legs! I'm with Pineapple, I let every creature have a free pass, including roaches if I can get someone to deal with them without a fatality, but these things.... no, man, they are gonna die.

We had an infestation of 40-legs when I was in St. Kitts one winter and it took four of us chasing one around the yard with hoes and other yard tools to kill it - chopped into many pieces and still on the move!

I've had a forty legger bite me, would kill them for sure.
