Giuseppa, my best advice is, when you return take a walk on the Westend, or ride to get an idea of the lay of the land down that way. Knocking on a few doors, or if someone is outside chat with them, they may have leads.

Not sure how you feel about shared space but there are places where you can rent a room and share a kitchen. This is straight up Jamaican style.

Giuseppe - are you still in Negril? Because if you are, you are really in the best position to find the rental. Most of us are not there on the ground so we can only give you a general direction in which to look.

Talk to people...go to places like Canoe and LTU where expats hang out to find out about places to live and what living there is like. Make friends. The first step when moving are about to live anywhere is to establish your community.

g, think of this logically, You are not there and are not Jamaican. Your GF is there and is jamaican, knows the runnings etc. SHE needs to do this not you. Makes sense?
