The day has come that instead of going on my usual Jam trip..I'm onto Tulum Mexico...I should be there sunday eve..Want to thank everyone for your support,and helpful info.. I will be gone a week and will probably take me another week to load pics and give a trip report..
This will be quite a "trip" for me..Never been to this area, dont know a soul, and will be going solo..
I'm going to try to make this a 50/50 trip..50% adventure (visit mayan ruins, cenotes and immerse in the culture) and 50% lounging on the beach, meditating,reading, and doing nothing..

I;m staying a cool little low budget (low budget for Tulum at $70 nite) cabana right on the beach-hoping to rent a bicycle (no not a motorbike) and be able to bike to the town and places around..Just doing one planned "tour' activity to go with a small group to Chichen Itza on March 21st for spring equinox..will be winging it on the other places I want to see-Coba ruins, Tulum ruins(I can bike to) and really want to check out the Sian Kaan nature -A UNESCO world heritage nature preserve-may do a Kayak tour for that-..

And really want to hook up with a Mayan shaman and get a "mayan reading"..
I 've read a little about this-just going to have to find someone "Legit" of course..
