I'm NOT asking for details of whatever happened. But would like to know who he is. It seens he was an important person in Negril.

Jimmy Jackson was a large land owner in Westmoreland Parish - ranches, hotels, homes... Quite a beloved and respected man in the community here. I never met the man but I did go to his wake last night in Orange Hill. What a party, hundreds and I mean 300, 400 maybe even 500? people tons of food, cases of white rum and red stripe...wowza. I'm sure his funeral was quite ceremonious as well. The family has a lot of money and notoriety here. The funeral was web cast.

And yes, married to Gail Jackson who I've only met a couple of times and seems like a lovely woman.

And Gail is a wonderful person too. She does so much for the community. For years I used to take kids' running shoes down and drop off with her for distribution to those in need. Not sure if she still does this, but she is very knowledgeable and giving of her time and resources in Negril and surrounding area. I think she also runs the marathon every year. I never met her husband but I have only heard good things about him. So happy to hear he had a good send-off.
