Hi, Donna. Actually, I'm feeling pretty low about now. I had my lymph node biopsy last Thursday (a week ago). The good news is that I heard back that they were all "clear," meaning that the cancer has not spread to any nodes. The bad news is that I now have a big knot/bump the size & consistency of a golf ball underneath my skin at the end of one of my armpit incisions. It is SO, SO painful I'm just on edge right now. I called my surgeon's office & found out that they're all at a breast conference until next Tuesday. So my surgeon has arranged for me to go to another place to have it locally-anesthesized & drained tomorrow early afternoon. In the meantime, I cannot put my arm down next to my side. Did I mention that it's extremely painful?!?! Anyway, I'm starting to feel like the "Queen of Pain." Sorry I couldn't report better news! I just broke down & took a pain pill....

Well Jenny you have to do what you have to do. Pain killers affect people differently. And what you've been through your body is getting a workout. Hope your appt goes well today and you get some relief.

Oh Jenny-sorry you got to deal with this now...Myabe you need differnt pain meds or up the prescription.and yes, some people more prone to seromas-I'm sure they can just drain those and you'll be cool...Its obvious they must be pressing on the nerves..Ouch...Dont let yourself suffer needlessly-it they're really bothering you see your Dr's backup-but if you can wait it out the I would.
