Thank you Angel. I'll tell you, this isn't for sissies. I also had a simplicity lift... very minor compared to the laser resurfacing. My face looks like a goopy mess because I have to keep it coated w/ Aquaphor (also in my hair - ick!). Because I'm "oozing", it doesn't want to stick. No problem w/ the cleaning my face every 5 hours... I haven't slept. I was at the doctor's office this a.m. & the staff was ooohhing over how great I look. Not to me! Apparently the swelling has gone down & my skin looks like it's off to a great start healing... unusual so soon after the procedure & much better than most patients. The only thing that hurts is where the pressure garment is pressing on my neck in one spot. It'll come off on Monday morning. The goopy face will be for about 10 days.

It looks much worse than it feels, yesterday evening especially since there was a little bit of blood mixed in w/ the Aquaphor... gross! None now, just the oozing & it's clear/yellowish so other than the Aquaphor not wanting to stick, I just look swollen. I have chipmunk cheeks because of the pressure garment. I've been taking pictures but forgot to take a "before".

I know it'll be worth it in the long run. Mostly watching TV since I can't wear my glasses. I have to use a magnifying glass to read so not doing much of that yet. Thank goodness I can adjust the font size on my Kindle when I'm ready to settle down w/ a book.

On the way home yesterday we stopped to show my mom how I looked. "You don't look like my daughter." That's an understatement. I look like a Halloween mask - lol.
