One of my more favorite parts of getting ready to go to Jamaica is receiving and inventorying all the boxes of crap I've ordered that comes down with me. I get books, a new makeup item (treat!), a few household items and a ton of toiletries. Yes - by far the biggest order I make is to Drugstore.com each year. And in appreciation of the tonnage of lotions and potions that I get they always give me a gift...its usually either those soak and expand sponges or wonderful Meyer Dishwashing Soap...both of which go into the JA bag as both are VERY handy down there.

This year was different. As I was unpacking what seemed to be a particularly mangled box (actually half the order was either missing or damaged) I came across my "prize" - this odd looking k-ration type bag that said "Pumpkin Spice" on it...

...and four 9 mil bullets.

I was prepared for a shit-storm of Men in Black storming the house and God knows what - I have to say that DS.com handled the situation really, really well. They of course are expediting the order of stuff that was missing or shmooshed (yukky smelly spilled hair oil etc.) at no charge AND they have refunded the entire amount of my order to my credit card.

All we had to do was "pack" the ammo in the original box they came in (loose at the bottom, so they are packed in the original box the rest of the stuff came in) and UPS should be here tomorrow to pick it up.

For good measure I threw in the mysterious "Pumpkin Spice". Who knows what it really was...hub said heroin, I say M2 Plastique.
