Very cool- Jamaica Clay - Jamaicame - 10-20-2011

So I had the chance to visit Jamaica Clay today, a place I didn't know about until a few days ago. It's quite the place and very worth a visit. The website doesn't do justice of the work (http://www.JamaicaClay.com). Can't wait to go again with cash in hand (I had about $1000J on me when I went today as I wasn't expecting to go).

Beyond the pottery, the location is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! It's near Good Hope Greathouse (near Falmouth) and it's very beautiful out there. We had to get my friend to the airport, but if we didn't have to rush out of there I would have spent a lot of time taking pics.

All pictures are right in the immediate area of Jamaica Clay (most are right outside of it).

Thank you so much for sharing.

I collect ceramics so this is a must for me. I did know of the place but never made the effort despite my love for pottery. Started as a child with an egg cup from Jersey Potteries.

Regardless of the pottery it looks an exquisite place to visit.
