I raised my daughter in York, went to school in Portland, and my family is in Bangor. I have a very dear friend in Belfast , that's a really cool town. I hope you make it up the coast, what a great time of year to be in Maine.

ps. on my bucket list is to spend a night on Monhegan Island. and I LOVE this place : http://www.farnsworthmuseum.org/olson-house The Olson House - if you like Andrew Wyeth it was his home and where he did a great deal of his work - it is such a beautiful spot - something about the lightening made such a strong impression on me - .
