HELP from anybody that is good.... - jajewel - 11-09-2010 at searching the web for flights.....what are the best sites to check??? I'd really love to get my daughter in law & grandson to come down to visit for one of his school breaks and not break the bank (hers OR mine) I want to try to help her find a cheap flight from Boston to Mobay. The dates are April 16th-24th..... If anybody that's a pro at this finds anything good or has any advice, I would love to hear it! Thanks!

Re: HELP from anybody that is good.... - rastagirl777 - 11-09-2010 As a "professional traveler", what I do is just a bit cumbersome but always yields me the best fares available. I use http://www.sidestep.com to research, choosing two of the lowest priced airlines. I then go to each airlines sites and research further. The airlines sites themselves, at least 90% of the time, are going to show a lower fare than any of the booking sites such as Orbitz, Expedia, or Travelocity. Also, it is a lot easier to suss out the "hidden costs" directly on an airline's site such as charges and policies for checked bags and seat assignments.
