Writing letters DO help the situation - Jenny - 11-08-2010 OK, not trying to be "Pollyannaish" here, but I did get back a response to one of the letters that I sent via e-mail to the "powers-that-be" in Jamaica regarding the tragic, needless Mickey Hill incident. Here is the text of the reply: 2010 November 08 Dear Ms. Shreve: I hereby acknowledge receipt of your e-mail sent 2010 November 07 regarding the subject matter. Kindly accept our condolence. If you are a witness to this incident or know any witness, please direct them to Mr. Eric Daley, Investigator at The Independent Commission of Investigations located at 42 Market Street, Montego Bay, St. James. The contact numbers are 971 – 1672 and 940 – 2310. Thank you for your concern. Yours truly, ……………………….. Please let me know if you want to know the e-mail addresses that I wrote, I got them from the Facebook page devoted to the Mickey Hill incident, and I will post them for you tonight when I get home. I'm hoping that letters written by many will have an affect.

Re: Writing letters DO help the situation - Angel - 11-08-2010 Thank you Jenny, please post the addresses. Even if people are not there we have been there and have friends or family there. So we can speak for them. It is a start.
