This is when logging in with password when opening a new browser.

The current default setting is YES, notify me when replies are posted.

Can the default be changed to NO?

In the meantime, just open the adv options box, click yes to save password and uncheck the email option. Your options will be saved until you clear your cache then you have to do it again.
