Tomas' winds have greatly decreased & the barometric pressure has risen to over 1000, which is encouraging! He is moving due westward now, but is expected to make a sharp turn north. I would imagine that Tomas will affect Jamaica very little, but will move onto Haiti with that sharp right turn. Hopes are that it will be weakened, but even a bit will be devestating for that country which has suffered so much & can handle even a slight storm poorly.
