I bought two mangos at the store here in MN..they aren't ripe. I remember I was told to wrap in paper to ripen..

Also, if you wrap naisberries in newspaper and bury them..they ripen.

I have also heard if you giggle under an ackee tree it will ripen faster.

Do you have any?

I have always been very disappointed with mangoes purchase local, however,a friend gave me one the other day, yellow, called it champagne,delicious!!!

a paperbag or newspaper works...also putting it in a dark cabinet works too......
