Cost of cataract surgery in Canada - Likkle Red - 10-30-2010

I am just wondering if anyone out there from Canada can tell me how much cataract surgery is and if the Canadian Health care program pays for this.

LR, I do not know how much it would cost, but I do know the Health Care system pays for it in B.C. do not know if it differs from province to province.

My Mom's Aunt had her cataracts removed last year and they paid (Health Care) for it. She stayed for half-day and was out with some restrictions.

canadian health care covers catarac surgery. i know that cause my dad had it done. we don't get a bill . . .
