Indian picked me up this am and went to Jenny’s for breakfast. Brownstewed chicken, yam, boiled banana and a dumpling. It was just want my stomach needed. Off we went for a drive up the West End..all the way around and up and back down. Came out by Sweet Spice. Lots of houses in various stages of finishness. One time we came around a corner and one whole heap of goats was in front of us.
I got to see so many things I haven’t seen in a long while.

We came back around and stopped in town and then to Hilo to do some power shopping. I like when you just have one store you like and you don’t have to haggle at everyone.

Back to the ranch. I got on the computer and showed Diego a few things. He was so surprised that I had them on the computer “so quick”. Decided to run up to Red Dragon for some pork. It is one of my favorite places to hang out and I had not been there yet.

The porkman promises to give me the recipe each time and never does. This time was no different! Got a lb and went to sit and have a rum. So many regular things go on at that bar and on that corner. One pretty gal went by on a bike looking all hot. Everyone inside was “seeing her”. Indian asked for a picture..she said no you must buy me a drink. Well she left and came back even when he said no drinks. She came in and sat down with us. We had a nice chat..I had to keep reminding Indian it was me he carried there as he was always turned facing the girl. HA

LL is throwing a little party tonight for me in the yard. I would have loved to stay longer at Red Ground but I knew I needed to “pace myself”. We headed back home and here I am catching up.

Dawn, nice little trip reports keep them coming. I'm great at reading them but horrible at taking the time to respond...

Got a question for you or others, is the Red Dragon just a tourist place or are there times when the locals exceed the tourist in numbers? I have yet to see pictures of that place when it's not full of tourists.
