as he will use it to spite you. This one friend tells me this. She has her own money but pretends not to so the man will give her more. I think she was trying to teach me something.
As most of you know, I am a single gal. I expect nothing from anyone.. and tend to give more than I get...cuz that's just the way I roll.
I was more than a bit disturbed by this comment but am thankful that I now have the knowledge that I can't fix or change the way people think, specially in Jamaica.

She was trying to teach you something Dawn. The way most men think in Jamaica, since she is Jamaican.
She must be a friend 2 U, otherwise, you would have not gotten that privy info, that if used wisely can make all the difference in many relationships.
Personally I'd cherish and practice that info!
