Rastagirl777, I am enjoying your blogs!

I have never been to Abetoka, but I have been to Paradise park.

I have a good memory to share. The Sav Police were holding a valentines fundraising dance in feb 1994. I used to have the stubs of the tickets we purchased, I may still. We arrived at the dance at 10pm. It was in full swing. We were greated by many of Mr. B's police friends. We talked w/ them, had drinks, and danced til we couldn't dance any more. Car's were lined up past the entrance gate. It was a good night, meeting people, laughing, I was living my dream. It was a great 'date' and from then on it was always a friendly hello from the police when I went to Sav to shop.

It is to bad they just let that place go to ruins! I wonder what the story behind that is? Does anyone know?

I do know, be careful when going there to swim. You will never know who is who or what is what. I have read a few people on the boards, while swimming, who had there bags, camera's, money stolen. BEWARE of open places like that. It is best to go to a well known place, like abouteka, or ys, mayfields, or RR. They have security and know what to do with those sketchy types, who want something for nothing.

I love off the beaten path, but I also love Life.
