Just got back from this resort. First, this is not one of the AI resorts in negril. It's private, secluded and we really love the serenity of the place. It is owned by Karen and Coleman...they were introduced to us by a friend. They are former attorneys from South Carolina who retired in Jamaica. Upon knowing about their villas we immediately wanted to stay there. Our friends who stayed there prior to us were all right. From the water activities to beautiful ocean views, we enjoyed every bit of our stay in Lemer. We made sure not to miss the sunset everyday. It's beautiful!!! You can watch it right from the balcony of the villas.

Our kids enjoyed our offsite tour to Ys falls, black river safari, chukka zipline and countryside tours. They arranged a tour for us with Alrick Allen of http://www.yourjamaicantourguide.com - who is a really nice guy. he's young and our kids just like him. One thing great about Alrick is he will show you the "real" Jamaica and not the "tourist" Jamaica.

Our 6 day trip was really worth it!! thanks to the couple for bringing a good cook to our villas to help us and even teach us how to cook "real" jamaican foods. :-) We hope to be back there again before the end of this year!! I have told my friends about this place and will recommend Lemer for those looking for a peaceful getaway in Jamaica. :-)
