Anyone ever fly on a buddy pass? - ohliz - 03-24-2011 I have a friend who works for several airlines (at airport) and he said he has an extra buddy pass for me if i want it. USAir and some other airlines. Anyone ever use those? I understand it's standby, and low-priority standby at that - paying customers and airline employees are ahead of buddies. Still, I can basically just pay taxes for a JA flight, and my travel days and times are always very flexible so I figure it's worth doing next trip. Heck I can even fly into MoBay or Kingston, don't really care. And I always do carry on only. I'm wondering if any of y'all have experience with it...
Re: Anyone ever fly on a buddy pass? - wit - 03-24-2011 nope sorry Liz. My friend who works for Air Canada gives his buddy passes to his partner. I know at times he flies on them as well. Seems to work out for them. Yes standby.
