First off, I'd like to thank everyone for the love and support shown to my wife (the sweet woman has been through hell the past few days) and myself from all the great friends we have....I can't even think about it without tearing up. You ALL are the greatest.
Yesterday I had a stress test to determine my ability to fly or not and under what conditions if I could fly. After the test the doctor said I was good to go....don't really know if he meant I was healthy enough to fly home...or that my credit card went through!! LOL (too close to the truth to really be funny). So, after a doctor from our insurance company spoke to my JA doctor...it was determined that a nurse should escort me on a commercial flight. Looks like this will happen Sunday. Then, probably straight to a REAL hospital where I can get PROPER care, testing, rest, etc.
MoBay Hope excels at collecting money upfront before any care (I use the term loosely here) is given. As far as medical care is concerned...it's basically a self serve hospital...if you or someone you know doesn't take care of you during your stay, it's unlikely anyone on staff will. I have horror stories...but I'll save them for a later date.
