Careful what you wish for.. - DAWN - 02-03-2011

Yesterday was my birthday and a bunch of friends met at my local watering hole. There is one of my work long time customers that hangs out there too. He was sitting with his friend from Atlanta enjoying my friends and I celebrate.

I sat with them for a bit chatting over all kinds of things. He asks the dreaded question "when are you going to Jamaica?" I replied that this year I am not going because "money is tight". He excuses himself from the table and goes outside. The Atlanta guy said that he can't wait to see this...I was confused.

He soon returned from outside and handed me $500 and said "Happy Birthday-now go to Jamaica" He said not to tell anyone who gave it to me except my boss and also tell him that he said for my boss to match it.
