Holy crap ..Great Whites are - oldtimer - 10-19-2023 surrounding Nova Scotia . I saw the " ping " maps this morning and there are atleast 20 TAGGED !!! Great Whites around . The crappers said they were seeing a bunch of Tuna now they think that a lot of the " hits " from their plotters are showing untagged Great Whites . Well Nova Scotia is " Canada's ocean play ground " now it might turn into " cage watching " Great Whites . Even though I never saw one in almost 60 years of fishing I had a feeling they were here . Down here in New England the sightings are increasing at an alarming rate. Off Cape Cod alone has seen more and more. Even here in CT with Long Island Sound there have been several confirmed Great Whites lately, unheard of in the past. There used to be a Ferry from Portland not sure if that route is still active?? Who could forget JAWS??? That movie kept people from swimming for about 20 years!!
