All I can say is the board software is not working correctly in several ways. A simple save on the existing Oldtimer2 account would not work for login. I merged all the older accounts of OT into one account, a new Oldtimer2, and did a resave on the account and it worked in my testing and him logging in and posting and kept his history. I noticed he was listed as a junior member so I went back to the account and changed it to Legendary Member (which he is) and it evidently broke the account when I did a simple save on the account for that correction. Oldtimer2 basically holds all of his history since I merged the others but it is broken and seems I cannot fix after trying many times to resolve the problem. No telling how many times I did a password change and save and it would not allow login.
So plan B is something I found by accident in all the trial and error. If I create a new account when I do a save the board software works like it should............so I recreated double trouble ot as a new account (one Tammy had set up once) to get him back in but it has him listed as a Junior Member and I would love to fix that but I am confident when I save the correction it will break that account.
I cannot simply delete and recreate Oldtimer2 because if I do all the history will be lost forever.
So Dread if you ever see this post can you give me a tutorial on what I am doing wrong or fix the issue in the software to where simple save does not break an account........
