Street names of people - CardBoardBox - 09-22-2022 I thought it would be interesting to investigate or explore "street names" in Negril, or Jamaica. Everyone (untrue) seems to have  a street name. I even have two which were given (bestowed) onto me. When I watch the youtube news videos, everyone (near true) has a "known as." The FaceBook post I read about "doctor love", which turns out was an advertisement (as are so many posts), reminded me of (up to) three guys with the self-promotion name of "doctor feel good." You can easily assume what these street urchines were professing to be. Probably the first one I heard was Rambo. You know that isn't what appears on his birth certificate. Maybe connected to the motorcycle rentals. But which came first? LOL The strongest memory is a guy named "Dial" because he shares the same given name as me. Which brings me to this board as a stable medium, vs FaceBook which has gotten me bent out of shape. One reason is I don't fully understand how FB works. The 2nd is the amount of advertising labeled as "wanting to share", and the 3rd is a hidden agenda of one FB group whose sole purpose seems to be to generate traffic (views) so as to enrich the page owner. Of course, there are ample people willing to be part of the group, same as a message board because people like to "belong." I'm just in a pissy mood today. Can you tell? LOL RE: Street names - CardBoardBox - 09-22-2022 Part of me wants to unsubscribe (unfriend?) from Facebook. It would be healthy. But there are some things I would miss too.
