There have been moments when I've deflected incessant inquiries from strangers with all sorts of fanciful lies. When asked "where am i staying" I'll point to a nice boat moored just off the beach and add "I hope my jet ski will be okay by the guard shack." If there's no yacht to point to I simply say "down the beach." I started off visiting Negril all happy-go-lucky telling everyone the truth. Now, when approached by strangers I just lie, lie, lie. My life story changes everyday!

My go-to excuse for not doing something is not having my wife's approval. Occasionally someone (mostly the women) will notice I'm not wearing a wedding ring (since I'm not married) which is amusing.
