Mosquito Control - CardBoardBox - 08-04-2021

Highlight; The NewYork Times has published what I will call the definitive work about Mosquito Control

https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/reviews/mosquito-control-gear/

plus there are 31 user comments at the end. Comments tend to be "worthy reads."

But just like the news and opinons we have been subject to during the last year and a half concerning CorVid-19 which continually changes and overloads our brains, there seems to be some mis-information in the story.
For one, they say citronella candles do not work. So far in my life, the NYT is the first source poo-poohing citronella.
Next is their #3 choice: "coils". Everyone I know in Jamaica agree they work. The Times says the EPA approves them "for this intended use" but fails to mention that the box states "not for indoor use." Is this a "loop hole"?
What some people do is light the coil*** and leave the room. I'd guess most of us don't bother.
***= I forget their wording of caution about "indoor use". I suppose it could cause a fire.
