Tammy wished OT a happy birthday and it was/is a very popular thread. Perhaps more boardies would have added on but they are too having problems with existing conversations as OT is still experiencing (assumed) oh his computer. Since I'm here, happy birthday OT.
Not related, but when I saw "patios" on a Youtube video, I played it. From the 1998 movie Meet Joe Black.
Short clip, 3 minutes, and it is good. Patois for beginners and non-Jamaican movie goers.
In the user comments, amid all sorts of praise, and a link to 2017 newspaper story about the acress, it is also mentioned she died in 2020 at age 102.

Another comment therein (what a long road this is), a viewer notes a word is used by Brad Pitt, which I include here with its definition.
Rhaatid Rahtid or Raahtid is a Jamaican expression used to convey surprise or irritation. A mild and acceptable synonym for the word Bumboclaat.
And a final item, from elsewhere, is a 3 days a week new flight from Miami to the island just began.
