JaMaMa about Lighthouse .. - oldtimer - 08-21-2020 The singer was Bob MacBride .. he is one of the best . .Years after the band was done he was shot to death robbing a pharmacy . 2 members of the band live close to where I do and both are retired teachers .Weird eh !! Lighthouse put on shows that were as entertaining as any band I have ever saw . RE: JaMaMa about Lighthouse .. - JAMaMa - 08-21-2020 Saw some little bits and pieces about them while posting. In a nut shell it appeared that it was a story of yet another drug and alcohol downward spiral until death. Didn't realize it was robbing a pharmacy. Geez, didn't he have enough money and aren't there enough drugs on the streets. But then I do know personally how that route goes. I had a brother who died last year. They found him with the needle still in his arm. He was a career junkie. Years and years. So stories like this are no real surprise. Sad. He was gone to me long before he physically died. You can only do so much, and the its time to walk away. Some may find that cold, but until they walked a mile in my shoes, no room for judging.
