Lobster season OVER and... - oldtimer - 06-29-2020 It's the 1st time in 58 years that there will be no BASH!!! It breaks my heart but at least we are fighting the COVID-19 . ( no new cases in 20 days in Nova Scotia ) Over half the catch this year was needed to make the boat/ gear payment . No bonus for the crew , minimum work to be done on the gear . Lowest price paid for lobsters in 15 years . The buying price and the selling price are not even close . The retailer hasn't dropped their price 1 cent !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
